Walker news
Saturday, September 26th at Saratoga Gaming & Raceway!!
This year the Northeastern New York Chapter has set its most agressive goal ever for Memory Walk. We had to, because every 70 seconds someone in America develops Alzheimer's disease and it is currently the 7th leading cause of death in the United States! We need your help to reach our goal of nearly $300,000.
Your support will help us advance the information that the public receives about Alzheimer's disease and the need for early diagnosis. It will help us reach our goal of providing support to the more than 40,000 families dealing with Alzheimer's disease in our 17-County Region. It will help fund reasearch to find disease altering drugs, and ulimately a cure.
The Northeastern New York Chapter is growing the services it provides to those suffering from Alzheimer's and those who have the enormous job of caring for those affected. Due to the generosity of our Walkers have established a "point of service" in Saratoga, Washington, Warren, Clinton, Essex, Hamilton, Delaware, Columbia, Greene, Fulton, Montgomery & Schoharie Counties. These offices allow us to serve more people, generate more support and bring more visibility to Alzheimer's disease. Let's keep our momentum going so we can continue to provide education, care & support to families that are affected.

Start a team
Teams are the heart of what makes Memory Walk so successful. Corporations, families, organizations, and school groups build teams to honor those who have been touched by Alzheimer's.
Team captains & co-captains are the volunteer leaders who build excitement and help teams meet their fundraising goals. As a Memory Walk team leader, every person you recruite brings us one step closer to ending Alzheimer's.
