The Northeastern New York Alzheimer’s Association receives no Medicaid or Medicare reimbursements or third part insurance payments. Seventy-five percent of our 1.3 million dollar budget  comes from the support provided to us by area businesses and generous individuals living in the communities we serve, with an additional 22% from foundation and government grants.
 We are very proud of the fact that nationally, as well as locally, 78 cents of every dollor raised goes to support programs and services surpassing the standard of 65% set by National Charities Information Bureau.  This along with our nationally recognized and highly effective core services has earned us the honor of having been named one of the top 100 charities in the country by Worth Magazine two years in a row.
