You can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

The Alzheimer's Association counts on some 35,000 volunteers nationwide. Please join them in helping achieve our vision of creating a world without Alzheimer's disease while optimizing quality of life for people who are affected by Alzheimer's disease. Whether you can commit a couple of hours a week or make a greater time commitment, we hope you will consider joining this very special community.

Volunteers are the people who make our programs possible. Promote awareness of Alzheimer's disease and the Alzheimer's Association by joining our Speakers Bureau or by representing the Chapter at health fairs. Provide administrative assistance and support to Chapter staff. Volunteer to lead and facilitate support groups or respond to calls to the Helpline. Advocate, become a voice for persons with dementia. Serve on the Board of Directors, a regional task force, or a Chapter committee to assist the chapter in advancing its mission.

Through the efforts of talented, caring volunteers, every dollar that comes into the Association is magnified enormously.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or for more information, email linda.whiteside@alz.org or call Linda Whiteside at 1.800.848.7097 ext 237.
